Re: Hi Ladies--Need RH help for a friend!
I still haven't booked yet - a little behind but we want Oct 09. We went to look at West Sayville country club and they gave us a price of $75 (including tax) for a sunday. timber point was a little more for Oct on a Sunday I think it was about $85. I also looked at the Three Village Inn and for Oct that was $80 ++. We are thinking of Columbus day weekend so these were all for sunday. HTH

Re: Hi Ladies--Need RH help for a friend!
Most places are high Sat evening as its prime time. I would suggest Friday evening, Sunday evening or a day wedding. That will open up a lot of options for her. I will post my quotes in a second, they are all for off nights/days in July/August.
Leonard's of Great Neck- Friday night $73pp (And only 18% grat instead of 20% at most places.. but just seemed like too much going on at once there)
Jericho Terrace- Friday night $85/90pp (beautiful, BM was awesome)
Fox Hollow - Friday night $80pp (they were soooo nice and they gave a little fox stuffed animal- which my dog now loves...lol! It just wasn't our style.)
ChateauBriand - Friday night $77pp (Very Art Deco)
Ventian Yacht Club - Sunday Day $90pp (negotiate to $85pp) (gorgeous, but was a bit cold to me)
CLM - Friday night, $90 (but I talked him down to $85) Sunday night $70 (Right on the water, has nice extras, BM was awesome.... felt like an extension of my big italian family...LOL)

Re: Hi Ladies--Need RH help for a friend!
Sunday afternoon/evening in summer is the best deal around. I found it was equivalent to off season (winter) prices. You can still do it at 5pm and be done by 10pm. So night wedding but not too late. I would suggest that she look into that if she is on a tight budget... I was and opted for Sunday. Friday is a good deal still $15-$20pp more than on Sunday though.

Yes! This is for July!! I work for a school district so I have to do it during prime wedding season... ugh!!! LOL! I hear off season CLM is about $55/$60pp.

Re: Hi Ladies--Need RH help for a friend!
Also surprisingly I found July/August to be cheaper than September/October. If she does nto want to do July/Aug then best bet would be to look for Nov./Dec. prices drop then.

Re: Hi Ladies--Need RH help for a friend!
Those are the most expensive months. I wanted an Oct ober wedding but, we just couldnt swing it. What time of the day is she looking for? Friday night and sunday day are the cheapest, so that can help her. Also how many people is she looking to have? Stewart Manor CC is great and has great prices but, only holds about 200, if I remember correctly. Also The Riviera in Massapequa has great prices, 1 wedding at a time but, 200 the max then it gets real tight. Im getting married there and haveing 150-180 and that will be good. There was another also that was good, cant think of the name right now. HTH

i agree i got a sunday cocktail hour starting at 5pm and everything ends at 10:30 pm, summer of 09....and its cheaper then the fall of 09 on a Sunday
Talk to each place ur looking at tell them how much u are looking for to spend tax and everything.....they will work with you.....they dont want you to walk away from then they will work with you.
