Forgive me brides, for I have sinned. It has been 2 hours since I last looked at my registry. Well, 2 hours since the first time I looked. I just looked again. In that 2 hours, things have disappeared off of the registry!
Can I just ask...let's say I registered for bedding. A king size comforter set. Then I also registered for additional decorative pillows that match the comforter set. Why, I ask, would someone purchase the decorative pillows when the comforter set itself has not been purchased? What am I to do with pillows that don't match anything? Silly people! If you're going to be kind enough to purchase a gift for me, please at least make sure to think it through first!
I know, I'm going to hell. Good thing we don't believe in hell in my religion!

I peek multiple times a day now. It's horrible.
And all the things are coming off our BB&B registry, but not our Macy's! It's not like they have the same stuff on them. Of course, I put some ridiculously expensive things on my Macy's registry that no one in a million years will ever buy, but there's stuff on there that I need!
Gah! I'm going to need registry rehab!

I haven't peeked in a while, but I was OBSESSED at first! Then I realized that no one would really buy anything till a couple months before. I know I will be re-obsessed very soon!

I am a peeker too. I peek about 100 times a day. I have the same problem as you. Someone brought the fancy towels for the bathroom but did not buy the rest of the matching pieces. What am I going to do with the towels and not the other pieces???

I just had a conversation with one of my friends here about the decorative pillows, and she thinks I'm wrong. Apparently, she would purchase the smaller price items and assume that either someone else will buy the bigger ticket item or that I will when all is said and done. Now I feel weird about it. Honestly, a lot of the things I put on my registry, I would never spend the money on, but if someone else is willing to, more power to them. I'd hate to have to return things that people get me because I'm too cheap to buy the rest of the stuff that goes with it.
