Hi New. Need help with Word Puzzle

Hi,

I am new, but have been lurking around for awhile. I have admired the DIY's that have been done, so I decided that maybe you could help me with mine, please.

I am getting married on a cruise ship later this year. My theme is 'Anchor in Love Forever'.

I have decided to create OOT bags for my guest. One of the things that I created was a crossword puzzle using MS word. I tried to use Photo Shop Pro, but just can get the hang of it.

Here are my problems. The first one is that I want the color to look more uniform on the word puzzle and the second one, I want to use the design for puzzle on my invitations. Maybe as a watermark. Could you please tell me what I need to do and how to fix the problem? I am interested in anything to make it look more professional looking.

I'm not sure how to create a word puzzle in word so kudos to you. Can you give short directions?

As for your watermark on the invitations, I think that's a great idea. What you could do is try and save as a PDF or JPEG and bring it into photoshop. You'll be able to make it more transparent there and it will look like a watermark. Hope this helps.

what do you mean by 'uniform'?

what program are you using for your invites?

if you decide to use ms word, just insert the pic and lighten it on the picture toolbar, or set it as a watermark on the same toolbar

Photoshop is the easiest as its been mentioned to fade the opacity. If you don't have the program, you can FM me and send me the file via email and I can do it for you. Its a five second process.

Thank you. That is what I wanted - the first one you did. I didn't want the white space and the rope behind it. How did u do it?

I have photoshop pro, but am having problems using it.

What I posted was the cover of my puzzle book. Inside there are several different puzzles. They were very easy to make.

i'm a computer graphics major so i touch-up graphics all the time. I just painted over the colors in Photoshop
