Hi.. quick question...

Is anyone getting their teeth whitened for their wedding??? I'm going to do something. My teeth aren't quite white anymore. I drink a lot of tea. So the color caught up with me. I'm very interested in the laser whitening since it only takes an hour. The other stuff takes two weeks and you have to sleep with it. The only thing I'm afraid of is that my teeth will come out too white??? :)

Hi.. quick question...

A friend of mine went to Britesmile and loved it - it wasn't for her wedding just something she wanted to do. It made a nice difference on her teeth -they look natural, not too white. I think it was a few hundred $, and the procedure was an hour or two. I know the toughest part was she could only eat white foods for the next 24 hours after she had it done. http://www.britesmile.com/ Good luck!

Hi.. quick question...

Yes me too. Thant's what I'm doing. I'm going to treat myself. Everyone I know says that they wished they had done it. They noticed that their teeth were not that great, even though the photo probably can whiten them up. So I'm going in Sept. The cost here is around $600. But I have one more dentist to see that does the 'Britesmile' treatment.

I had mine done!

I did the treatment from Opalessence, it is the gel that you sleep with. It worked great, I had it done in January and my teeth still look good. I'm a coffee drinker so my teeth lost a little of their sparkle. If you can afford the laser treatment go for it...if not the Opalessence starts at around $475.You need to maintain it once a year, but you only pay for the cost of the gel($40). Good luck!

Question for Heather

May I ask - how long did you have to wear the gel? Was it two weeks? And when you say maintain, do you mean for 2 weeks each year you need to wear the gel? Thanks...

Crest White Strips...

That`s so good to hear from someone that they work .. I`ve actually been meaning to ask if anyone had used them. I couldn`t believe it when I saw the price at CVS recently. There was no way I was going to shell out that kind of money for something that might not work. As far as I`m concerned, the whitening toothpastes really don`t do anything .. and I`ve tried a few of them.

Crest White Strips...

A friend of mine used them as well and I plan to buy them in the next week or two. Just curious, has anyone seen 'em less than $39.99? Thanks!

Where else can I go for Crest...

Okay - I have been dying to try these Crest strips! But I have checked the CVS and Genovese near me, and neither had them! Any other suggestions where to look? By the way, the lowest quote I've gotten for the Brite Smile treatment so far is $499.00...

Elle

I have them also. DId you do the top first for 14 days and then the bottom? Did you do it twice a day? I bought them a few weeks ago and used them for a few days and then started slacking. I just tried the top and bottom at the same time but it isn't working that well.

aimee

I did the top first -- twice a day for 14 days. Now I am starting the bottom. I also tried to do them at the same time-- and they kept falling off-- I can tell such a difference from the top ( how white they are) and the bottom !

Does anyone know if they work...

...if you have dental work, like caps. I have 2 caps and I`d hate to use them and have the real teeth white and the caps not take to it.
