does anyone have pics of their room with high and low centerpieces? Right now I am doing all high for 20 or more tables but I am thinking about alternating to cut some costs...

I'll probably also be doing half and half as I'm going to need between 20 and 25 CP's. There was a thread about this earlier today......Click Me :)

No problem, hall twin I do love NRC, that's for sure. And my florist's (a personal friend) brother got married there about 5 years ago, so he knows the room pretty well (he was the best man). He told me half and half would be a great way to cut costs and it's perfect because it adds more depth to the room.

Re: high and low centerpieces
I haven't looked into a florist yet but I really love the high centerpieces.
I went over budget with everything and I'm not big on flowers so that's the one thing I plan to stay on budget for. I have a huge wedding party so lots of flowers (and cost) involved.
I recently ran the idea by my mom of having low and high centerpieces and she wasn't keen on the idea (I'm paying for it so I'll do what I want - I just wanted someones opinion)
The point of this is.. I haven't priced flowers yet but does it really make that big of a difference to get high and low as opposed to all high?

Re: high and low centerpieces
My wedding hasn't happened yet but I'm going with half and half. I'm having probably about 25 tables, which will be arranged in 4 rows (2 on each side of the dance floor) and I'm worried that all tall will look too redundant with so many tables. I definitely know that I do want tall there though because they really make a presence in the room!

Re: high and low centerpieces
I'm doing high and low centerpieces to add dimension to the room. It was actually recommended by one of my florists, he said he loves how it looks and does it when he's not even trying to save money. I really think it breaks up the room nicely and is more visually interesting than the same high (or low) centerpieces on every table. I think people who think it would look 'weird' just haven't actually seen it done.

We're doing high and low but I don't have any pictures. The florist said it's becoming more common doing it that way because it saves a lot of money - that's exactly why we did it lol I'm sure it's going to look great.

Re: high and low centerpieces
In some cases the high and low do not cut cost. I decided to do high and low alternating and they are the same cost for both, It may just be the size of the low, but its how it worked out for me. HTH
