Has anyone done high and low centerpieces for a smaller wedding in a smaller room. I'm only going to have about 10 tables max and one place recommended we do this to keep the costs down, otherwise it would be too much $. Another florist said we should do all high because our room is small so it won't look right with high and low? Does this matter?

Re: High and Low Centerpieces
I had my wedding at Jericho Terrace in the Skylight room and did high and low centerpieces. The room looked beautiful! I told my florist what tables I wanted the highs on and the lows on. I also gave the same paper to my maitre d so that he could double check the florist. It was important to me that my parents and family had high centerpieces on their tables and so on. It was also cheaper to do it this way.

How many tables did you have? Is this one of the smaller rooms there?

Re: High and Low Centerpieces
I had about 13 tables for my wedding since we had approx. 75 guests. And I had low CP's. I'm not sure about an indoor wedding. High CPs might work. I think it depends on the layout of the room and the type of floral arrangements. High or Low CP's shouldn't matter, I think the cost of CP's really depend on the type of flowers you choose. For ex. orchids are expensive and roses can add up the cost as well as flowers that are out of season. If you stick with blooms that are in season, you should be fine.

I had about 14 tables and I think we had about 140 guests there. The room still looked beautiful and its a matter of preference. Good luck
