High-Low CP

High-Low CP

How does everyone feel abot high & low CP's?
My RH (The Woodlands) doesn't have very high ceilings but, I love the look of the high CP's.
Yet, don't want to overpower the room. What shall I do?

Re: High-Low CP

I went to a wedding recently that every other table there was either a high or low one..and to be honest I thought I wouldn't like it but when I saw it I thought it looked great.

I'm alternating high and low from table to table.

I'm doing high and low to break up the room and to save $$$$.

i went with low centerpieces at the Woodlands, it made the room feel more open and didn't block anyone's view of the dance floor. i would post a picture, but i don't have any on this computer...sorry!

my RH cieling is low too and we are either doing all high or alternating- I think either way is fine... if you do it right! Good Luck

I like the idea of mixing and matching....I don't like things looking too matchy matchy and it's a gret way to save money! (If you were thinking about having them all tall!) Good luck!

We are doing half and half. We have a huge guest list which amounts to 30 something tables and altho we LOVE hi cp's, we def dont want to over power the room. I think a lot of people do a mix nowadays. It's more cost effective and it breaks up the room a bit.

We were going to do that, then our florist recommended we do all high or all low because the room shape didn't allow the centerpieces to be every other one. Hard to explain. Basically there would be a few that were the same height next to each other. So we ended up going with all high. Im a fan either way!

i like low CP mostly because it doesn't present a barrier against the other side of the table and it also makes for better picture taking

Im doing low CPs but they will ALL be different

Re: High-Low CP

I'm doing low because the ceilings are high with chandliers... I don't want to make a focal point in the middle of the ceiling , I want them to be more equal... so if they're low, lower ones would accent the room depth better.

Re: High-Low CP

I am a woodlands bride and I am doing High CPs. I saw a wedding that did them as well when I went for dinner one evening. I think the room looks nice with either, but if you decide to do low, I would suggest a long piece since the tables are long. You could always stop by an ask to see pics.

bump...
I am a Woodlands bride too and have been wondering what I should do because of the lower ceilings.
I am thinking about a mix of high and low as well.

Re: High-Low CP

I've seen my RH with both low and high CP and in my hall I like the high because of the open ceiling. I never heard of doing the mix-match I may look into that....

Another day on LIW, another idea
