Highlights need opinons on when to do them

I want sutle caramel highlights but do I do them now and than get them touched up before the wedding or do I wait till like 2 weeks before so they are fresh.

the only reason im contemplating on not doing them now is cus sometimes when you touch up highlights they dont look as good as when you first did them

Thoughts pls!!!!

Is this your first time getting highlights? Only thing about doing them 2 weeks before wedding is if you've never done it, you maybe might not like it.

hey no its not the first time-I had them done before but lighter-I just want like natural highlights

I havent had highlights for about 4 years now

but what should I do??
I mean how bad could they look??

I say do them now see how you like them and then again before wedding. You still have a few months to go so you should be okay.

BUT, I've never done highlights really so don't take my ad vice lol

lol-I kinda wanna wait till before the wedding so it like a surprise but I cant decide what to do-im kinda scared- I used to have blond highlights and than every time i would get them touched up they got lighter

???

if it were me, I would wait. Like you said sometime when you do them again they get lighter and not only that, they will never get only the exact hair that was highlighted so you will end up with thicker highlights from other non-highlighter hair getting in there if you know what I mean. But that has just been my experience.

the only thing is-Im sure I will like it , how bad of a job could my hair dresser do

I JUST did highlights for the first time, and I'll have them touched up befor emy June wedding. i wanted to make sure everything looks good

I have dark blonde/light brown hair and just got caramel highlights in november. I'm debating getting them done next week and then again the first week of July. They grew out very natural but I have b-pics april 11th. If I get them done next week I'll let ou know how they turn out.

Oh yeah! Haha! Definitely wait till after bpics! would hate for to get bad highlights and then have to take pictures with them! God forbid!

I would do them closer to the wedding... like 2-3 weeks before.. I'ms uire they won't come out bad, but godforbid you don't like them, you can always get recolored

I never like how my highlight rot touch ups come out compared to the original, that's why personally I'd wait.
