I am going to look at The Woolands for a third & final time with the fiance this weekend. I think it is going to be the venue of choice (yay!) and we will most likely aim for Spring 2012...so that would make me 2012 bride! So, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself! Hey Kim, welcome to the boards! Thats great that you're already settling on a date and location, I have had no interaction with the Woodlands personally, but as time goes on we'll all be able to give our two (or ten) cents about all of our decisions :)

My fiance planned it perfectly because it totally threw me off....my Brother got married the third week of September '10...which I had an idea my FI was anticipating proposing after their so they could enjoy their day! One week later...i was catching a cold...had my glasses on...we were suppose to go to a friends house but last minute decided to walk down to our favorite local restaurant. After a delicious din and some vino...he got down on bended knee! It was simply perfect...because it was exactly 'us!' :) I wish that I had blown my hair out...and looked a little better...but, he <3's me no matter what, right? Lol. The owners know us - so they cheersed with us to some bubbly and we walked home with our very own engagement champagne glasses! Best moment of this whole experience so far! Looking forward to marrying my best friend. <3 Yay!

I just booked the Woodlands on Sunday! We searched for 8 months and we absolutely loved it the first time we saw it. We booked it for May 2011...so excited!
