Hi....I'm posting again...:)

Sorry that I'm not on here very often (I'm trying)

Anywho~FH and I still have not booked a DJ. We have not been in the mood to do anything...

So my question is: Do you recommend anyone? I know this is going to sound weird but we have met with 3 DJs so far and here is what we did not like:

-One DJ had me on hold and told me he had to call me back his landscaper was here and never did...lol (although that is really not funny)

-Another guy had a mullet and made us feel uncomfortable...lol (that is very funny)

-And we do not like big commerical places because we felt like another number...if ya know what I mean.

*I heard these guys were good...Starlight Express, High Voltage, FM, and Body ROck....What do u think?

~TIA~

I am booked with In The Mix for the wedding- I am soo excited to have them do my wedding. We met with Donny and he was sooo unbelievable nice and he suggested certain things and gave honest opinions about spending $$ on certain things they offer- such as saxs, percussionist...

Def suggest going to visit him....and they are very reasonably priced

Also High Voltage did our e-party. My mom was soo happy that we booked him she kept saying 'Oh I has so much fun he definitely kept everyone on the dance floor' And they did...they were very good....and def reasonably priced

Call In the Mood DJ Productions. Speak with Mike, he is really awesome to work with and is open to whatever you want

Do those DJ's have a screen to show pictures to our guests? I forgot the name of it but FH wants that too...he can be picky when it comes to music...

Here is a good example of what I have to deal with:

-FH wants to play atleast one heavy metal song and head bang and Mosh...YEa ok...that sounds like that argument will win...what do u think? lol

Did you check out Absolute Entertainment. I was really impressed with Kevin and their prices are pretty good. FM me if you would like details

Well I have to say...although he did try to argue this, he did pick a great list of songs to play...80's, rock, and I do like some heavier songs(ex: Metallica, GNR, Motely)...but not enough to mosh too, haha Could you imagine doing that at Jericho Terrace...hahaha. OMG what an image...

I am using party sensation. He is located in Massapequa I've seen him at other parties and he is soooo energetic and the light shows and music is amazing.

I booked with Dynamic Entertainment (they are a vendor on LIW). They have plasma tvs and will put together a montage of pics you give them (like a slideshow of your pics put to music you request). I give them 2 thumbs up (and that's not just b/c they are my cousins and I work for them...they really are awesome!)

We met with Body Rock and Tommy Tunes, (both awesome) but we thought they were a bit pricey.

We booked with In the Mood. They are big, but not so big that they treat you like a #. (the recognized us at the last Watermill showcase and knew we had booked with them) They are a LIW vendor too. They will definitely negotiate with you and were not as pricey as the other guys.

HTH!

Yes, check Starlight but also on Jericho Tpke look at In the Mix. They did my sisters Sweet 16 and were really good! I'm pretty sure they also have a lady that does favors and the such next door or downstairs that you might want to take a look at later too (don't know much about her though).

Oh and In the Mix did photo/slide show projection through-out the party too. Not sure about Starlight but by now they probably do.
