I'm in the process of blocking hotel rooms and wanted to know if anyone had any feedback on the Hilton Garden Inn (Westbury).
I'm also looking at La Quinta (Garden City). Any feedback on La Quinta would be appreciated too.
Out of the two which would you prefer????

we blocked at the hilton garden in ronkonkoma thou, nothing but great so far! i love thier policies. and found them to be the best.

Im using Hilton Garden Inn for my wedding and they have been amazing to work with. I worked with Nadine and shes been very kind. Always answers my questions, calls me right back and I cant complain at all. I hear the hotel is nice too. And if you book more than 10 room they offer free shuttle service to WM... AND its 5 min away so you cant beat that. You dont want to book anything too far away either... =) HTH

I have not stayed at the Hilton. I did stay at La Quinta for my friends wedding. It was okay I think we paid like $150 but that was a year and a half ago. My friend also had breakfast for everyone in a separate room which was nice. Only mishap was the shuttle driver got confused and drove the guests to the wrong hall, but it was corrected and everything worked out fine.

We're using the Hilton Garden Inn Westbury. I was working with Nadine, and she was great in the beginning but for some reason she stopped returning my calls, emails, etc. Now I'm working with Donna and she's fantastic. I get the same thing with the shuttle since I'm a WM bride.

I dont know about La Quinta policy but I liked that you have no financial responsibility at hilton (they just release 30 days prior), its only 5 bucks for the shuttle if there are over 2 ppl in a room (free for the first 2 ppl) and what I really liked a lot is that they give you a banquet room free of charge which I didnt need for any breakfast, etc but she said I could use for the morning for everyone to get their hair and makeup done

I LOVE La quinta. im so happy i blocked rooms there. its gorgeous, they gave us a shuttle, a room for an afterparty, complimentary breakfast in a seperate room..its amazing!!
