ok..so just spoke to the travel agent and shes working on a honeymoon for us...we arent going right after our wedding because we wanted to wait until it was a bit warmer.... so...we are prob going to hit Ireland up in the beginning of summer 2009... i am so excited because the wedding will come and go...then a 4 months will pass and we'll have a HM....it will make the excitement last longer and give us something to look forward too!

That's sooo awesome! I am thinking of going to Ireland too! I got an amzing quote for 8 nights touring 4 different castles! We didn't book it yet but we prolly will! Where are you planning on exactly going / doing??

well...we want to spend 2 weeks trying to see as much of the country as possible. FH is all Irish and me...not so much...lol My dad is croatian and mom is half italian and half irish so i am all about seeing and learning all my heritage....been to Italy and Croatia plenty so it only makes sense for us to go to Ireland now. My great great gm was born in County Cork (where the famous blarney stone is) so thats the only DEFINITE...other than that...i jsut want to see the castles and beautiful countryside!

Basically the same story for me...FH is just about 100% Irish, I'm more like 65% LOL. We both always wanted to go there... and it's sooo pretty there! Just the thought of staying in a castle excits me! LOL

i know...castles are so romantic...plus we are so not beach people. the thought of going to a resort type place was not an option for us. we want to see the world...one country at a time...so exciting!
