Ok so my wedding is in November which i know is the end of hurricane season but it still eliminates all of those islands because what if the hurricane hit in like September and knocked out my hotel!!?? Any alternative ideas to go to that don't lie within the hurrican zone?
Thanks!

I must say that every summer in August (which is hurricane season) fh and I vacation to the Caribbean...Not once have we had a problem with hurricanes. I would check and see the past years, but I wouldnt necessarily eliminate the Caribbean because of the hurricane season.

Even though Aruba is out of the Hurricane zone, when we went on our Honeymoon we didnt have the best weather believe it or not. We went at the end of November and it raide 3 out of the 6 days we were there. It didnt rain all day but like a hlaf hour here and there throughout the day.

If you really have your heart set on one of those islands you can get hm insurance. I booked with Travel Tom and AMEX offers this insurance where you can cancel for any reason possible and get all your money back.
But, if you really don't wanna go the insurance route... Aruba is out of the loop. Here is what the weather channel suggests for your month:
November Australia, Bahamas, Bali, Belize, Brazil, Canada (ski destinations), Central and South Africa, Egypt, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Seychelles, Spain, U.S.(ski destinations, Southeast, Southwest)
HTH!

Just got back from Aruba with my FH and absolutely loved it. We stood at the RIU and brand new all inclusive hotel. It was gorgeous and not too expensive. The weather was amazing and they don't get hit with hurricanes. Definitely look into it. You won't be sorry.

thanks so much for your research! what is it like a 5hr flight? FH is a little (well more than alittle) weary of planes so i think 5-6hrs may have to be the max. unless i drug him with tylenol PM LOL

Aruba, Caracao, Bonaire, hawaii, Brazil, Maldives, Thailand. Im not sure of weather in Maldives and Thailand, but may be worth looking into. I also think Trinadad and Tobego might be below the belt...

We were there around the same time - it rained a lot one day but, the other days - you were able to stay outside while the shower passed (it was actually refreshing because it was pretty hot!)
ETA: Didn't realize you left on 12/3 - we were there from 11/30-12/5. 12/4 was probably the worst day we had weather wise.
