our Hm to Mexico is canceled Not sure where we are going yet but we def are not going to Mexico the airlines are cancelling all flights to Mexico and issuing a full refund with no fees I just cant believe this is happening a month before my HM

Go to Orbitz or Expedia, they always offer really good prices when booking last minute, you will definitely be able to book something. Don't worry it will all work out. Will you consider anywhere else in the Carribean? There are so many gorgeous places similar to Mexico with similar prices.

Have you been to Punta Cana? Bermuda? Bahamas? All are great for Honeymoons... I hope it all works out sweetie

we're staying at excellence riviera maya and the royal hideaway. FH just called and the most we will pay to cancle is $250 in total for the both of us. I was just so excited to go so it's a huge bummer.

we havent cancled yet we're going to wait the week out and see what happens in the news.

I am so sorry!!! I know you must be bummed but as a lot of the other girls said, maybe you will find an even better deal to somewhere else!! I hope it all works out in the end!

Awwwq...I'm sooo sorry...but you still have plenty of time to think of another place to go. Best of luck!!! As all the other girls said...on the brighter side you'll be getting your money back right away rather then fighting for it.

Same with us....we are going to Aruba.
We get married a week after you...no worries, just change it. Keep your head up and just keep smiling....it could be worse like g-d forbid your wedding got canceled. Don't want to wish that, but I just want you to look on the brighter side :)

Awww.. Everything will work out!!

Its weird because my FBIL is getting married on the 25th and going to Mexico the day after and ghis flight is fine. he checked now after I told about what happened to you.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It's probably going to happen to a lot of brides now.

It's better to be safe than sorry. This looks like it's going to be a bad outbreak. And if so you don't want to mess around with that.

Can you book another HM elsewhere? Be glad you got a full refund and that you are healthy!

Ali - they might cancel it on you. Sometimes it's not of choice. This happened to me when hurricane Katrina hit. I had a paid vacay scheduled for like 3 weeks after the hurricane hit and they cancelled it on me. I was able to move the vacation to another place though... and it was all fully refunded.
Good Luck! And if you do end up going... be careful and safe! Remember even if you are on a resort... there are workers from the area... and they way this thing seems to be effecting people.. you never know who came into contact with whom or what.

I was thinking this morning... how lucky I am that I don't know anyone who was that close to it. I come into work and my coworkers sons are both home from school. Her friends daughter got it from Prep and now her friend has it too. I looked at my coworker and told her NOT TO GO NEAR HER FRIEND right now!!!!

No the Flight was NOT cancled. The travel agent said flights for the next 2 weeks are but i'm nervous about waiting around, what if they do cancle ours too....will we be able to book a new honeymoon 2 weeks before??
