HM Dilemma...

So I have deposited my parents timeshare and am on a waiting list for Aruba or Curacao.... I am wondering if I should put in for Hawaii though... I can add as many as I'd like, but I'm thinking of hurricane season...

The thing with Hawaii is that airfare will prob be through the roof... What do you guys think I should do? Add or or dont add it...

LoL Yeah, i will add it and then worry about the extra costs later if we even get it! now its time to go through the entire book and put all the hotels into tripadvisor and look up reviews... it gets tiring LOL

haha oh god i have been LIVING on tripadvisor.com. FH wants to go to Hawaii, and I wanted to go to Europe.. but with the value of the dollar.. looks like hes going to win and were going to go to Hawaii. The airfare is pretty pricey, and even though the hm is a gift, you should do like im doing. get a credit card that allows you to earn miles and put everything you can on the card! since we have over a year and a half to accumulate miles, you could earn enough for round trip tickets, and even if you dont earn a free trip, you are still going to get money off your airfare! ive read a few reviews on here of girls who paid $20 for first class roundtrip airfare to hawaii just from the miles! its worth a shot in my opinion

i do have a miles CC, but have never used it!!! maybe i should start LOL

Add it...you never know.
Hawaii is amazing. When FH and I went in Sept we paid about $650 per plane tix.

We flew US airways (with a layover in AZ on the way there and CA on the way back). We flew from JFK to Oahu. My tix was paid for through work (I was going there for a conference). They booked the tixs through work for me, but I don't think it was a special gov't rate, because FH paid the same for his tix.

I would add it. I am using my parents timeshare and I put about 15 places on the list.

Airfare is so expensive right now anywhere you go.

FH is starting to use his amex card for expenses at work. He is a part owner at the comp he works at and his partner/boss ofered to let fh use his amex card to gain points and just keeo track of it so he can pay him for the bill. Its a multi million $ comp so they have crazy expenses....FREE VACAS HERE WE COME!!! haha
