HM help!!

Ok so since we're paying for EVERYTHING, we might not be able to do the honeymoon we wanted.

Initally we wanted an 8day, 7night stay at excellence in DR. But after looking at pricing, it came to about $4000. (which we barely have...)

So I'm wondering....what would you do to save costs on your HM but still have a good time?????

An option given to me: stay for 7days/6nights and save ~$600...

they have great prices! check it out!!

FH and I went to the DR this summer. Excellence Punta Cana, all inclusive, and airfare for under 3k for both of us!

We have gotten some great deals on there- and my friends got an 11 day trip through China (including airfare!) for $900 each!!!!!!

We are staying at the Excellence in Playa Mujeres I(Mexico) for 10 days and it came out to $4,000. You should definitely check there! We are in one of the upgraded rooms too! You can definitely go for 7 days and under $2500 there

why not do barbados. I don't know if they still have it, but the best of barbados is an amazing deal!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can also check out Puerto Plata in DR, the price is almost more than half in some places and I'm sure you guys will still have a blast!

Also I've been playing around w/ prices and different dates - if you travel o na Tuesday, it's cheaper!

We stayed at the Excellence n Punta Cana for 8 days, 7 nights and it cost us $2500. We went iN August-Sept...

No advice on cheap websites, but we are doing a mini-moon right after (a 3 day cruise out of miami) and then planning on taking a real honeymoon on our first anniversary.

I ran out of vacation days for 2011 already so that's what worked best for us. we get a small honeymoon and then a future trip.
