So about a month ago I booked sandals montego bay...and after checking up on tripadvisor- I'm second guessing it...the reviews have been pretty bad lately...I checked with sandals and they said they can apply the $400 deposit to a different resort- but idk if i should switch???

I don't know about Sandals Montego Bay but our friends stayed at Sandals Grand Antigua and loved it

I would hope that any tropical All-Inclusive resort in the Caribbean would be fabulous! What exactly are you seeing online that is worrying you now?

just posts on tripadvisor..its hard because for every bad post--theres a postive-I'm probably just over thinking it...

i've also heard a lot that competitors of hotels will post bad reviews on purpose so that they can affect the trip advisor rankings. sandals sounds amazing...maybe wait a few weeks to see what other reviews are or check other sites before you make a decision...

Hey!!! I was so close to booking there and decided not to go, one of my bffs sister in laws went there and said it was awful. I was nervous too because they said the airport is so close to the resort and there are planes flying overhead a lot... HTH!

The Sandals in Antiqua and St Lucia are amazing. Try to rebook it at another Sandals location

they won't give you back your deposit?? seriously?? that stinks!!!!
most hotels will refund everything until 24 hours before!! that would make me so angry!!

In January we stayed at the Sandal Grande St Lucian and it was great. We are going to Sandals Royal Carribean in Montego Bay at the beginning of September so I will let you know. I was also looking at the reviews on trip advior and FH told me that you have to keep in mind that alot of people stay at these hotels so they are bound to have some bad reviews.

I travel all over the west indies and I love Jamaica!!! The sandals montage bay is close to the airport...if you still want to do Jamaica I would suggest royal caribbean or negril. HTH

My sis went to Sandals Bahamas last yr for her HM. She said they had a great time but the place was a little outdated like the rooms, outdoor areas ect.
