HM Ideas

I have my heart set on Tahiti yet fiance is not 100% won over (I think it is the flying)...Wanted to look into alternatives....just wanted to do something different. He does not want to goto Hawaii (I did that the first time around) & we been to most of the Carribean.

Possibly Ireland or the Amalfi Coast? Can anyone offer suggestions/alternatives or reviews on the above?

Scotland is one of my favorite places in the world!!! I always swore I'd go there on my honeymoon - i spent some time there while i ws studying abroad and it was amazing!

I know alot of Irish people go to the Maldives Islands, but it's off the coast of Africa so that's a long trip.

How about a cruise? I'm dying to do a cruise to Alaska!

Ireland - you can definitely do a HM there. I have never done a tour there though, I stay with relatives, so I can't comment on tours. I would think you would want to do stuff on your own though rather tahn be in a group on your honeymoon. The driving is tedious though - they drive on the left and most cars are stick shift, although you can get automatic but it's more expensive. The ring of Kerry is a great attraction (very beautiful scenery) and so is Galway, Cork and Dublin is a good tourist attraction as well.

Amafi coast...is that also off Africa? Or Spain?

HOw about France? Italy? I'd love to go to northern Italy. Maybe when I win the lotto

And...what are haggis?

haggis is this scottich dish that they make - it's like a cow stomach stuffed with other animal organs and then sewn up and they eat it cold...it's probably the most disgusting recipe i've ever come across!!!
no offense to all of those haggis lovers out there!!!
