HM in Cabo San Lucas and Vail?

We are thinking of going to Cabo for 1 week and then going skiing out west for 4 days. Originally, we wanted to go to Aspen or Vail, but it's not an easy trip from Cabo. Does anyone have any thoughts for the second part of our HM? My FI really wants to ski out west for a few days

First of all, I love LOVE Cabo... I went there a few years ago and had a blast.... You will love it... Stay at Westin Regina if you can afford it... Romantic with a capitol R. Also, after you can ski at Lake Tahoe- that should be really easy. fly into San Fran or something!!! Wonderful right? You can ski at Heavenly Valley, North Star, Squaw Valley at the California/Nevada border and at night, gamble... So much fun!!!

Thanks Sept20yay!! Any ideas where to stay in Tahoe? I was told it was a bit more rustic than Vail and Aspen??

There was a lovely condo we stayed at, but I have to ask my father and FBIL- who loves it there- where is the best hotel or something to stay!!! The restaurants are to die for!!!

I want to call FI now but he is in the middle of a meeting... Stupid meetings!!! I can get the receptionist to pull him out saying it is an emergency, but he would have a coronary if when he got on the phone I was like 'dumpling, could you tell me about the ins and outs of Tahoe!!!' Give me a few hours and I will get you the lowdown my dear!!!
