FH and I are planning to go west for our honeymoon. We are starting to do research..was wondering if anyone has any reccomendations..
We are thinking of flying in to San Fran...heading straight to Napa/St. Helena and then back to San Fran for a few days...

My FH planned a surprise Bday trip for me last year to San fran for three days...one day to Napa and then two days down in Monterray, IT WAS THE BEST!!!! we loved it and may stop their on our way to Hawaii for our HM.....I can't express how much I enjoyed Napa..there are so many romantic places to stay there and enjoy the wineries etc.....our favorite restaurant in Napa was the Rutherford Grill!!!!

I stayed at the The Orchid (or Orchard) in San Fran on my trip there... it's a very nice boutique hotel right by the trolley line. We went south to Carmel, Santa Barbara, and San Diego so I can't help you there but I LOVED SF...
