los cabos was amazing. FH and I went this past March. We actually stayed in san jose del cabo It's a bit quieter and you can walk into town where there are many local restaurants (or you can take a taxi, but we enjoyed the walk). We took a cab into los cabos for the shopping, nightlife, snorkeling and other activities. The whole area has a good mix.
