We didnt want to get on the plane to come home!!
First of all, noone on here said they drive on the other side of the road, so that was shocking. The roads, OMG i never get car sick but I was sure about to. They are awful drivers and the roads are so windy. There is not one straight road. The only bad part!![]()

We did hear that one girl there was in the taxi from the airport and her taxi got into an accident and she was on crutches!! Crazy!! Someone on here mentioned that there are guys at the airport try to take your bags so you tip them!! They are the guys in the red hats after you come through customs/immigration. They try to tell you 'sandals, sandals'. If you go outside there are the real sandals people sitting at a desk!! Dont get suckered into tipping them. Its like 5 feet where you have to walk. Its not a big airport at all.
The entire resort is amazing and the staff are soooo friendly!!!! We had the butler service and loved it!! Well worth it. Sitting by the pool, hungry, grab the cell phone they give you and call the butler and order food to be delivered right to our seat..
We ate at every restaurant there and loved every one of them. DH didnt love the Japenese restaurant but he doesnt really eat that type of food.
We did the bike riding tour in the rain forest. It took 45 min. to get there and my stomach was not happy. They say the tour is not strenuous but it is. Its hot and you do bike ride up hill at times. We did get ourselves wet in the waterfall. The ride home was awful!!! I couldnt stand when we got back to the resort, my head was spinning. We were supposed to go to the Grande that night but I cancelled the dinner reservation b/c I was not getting in another car.![]()
So everyday we sat by the pool, went to the beach, sat by the pool, all... day... long.., which is exactly what we wanted.. It was awesome!! Oh and we had lotssss of drinks![]()

Every day was a different theme and they had activities you can participate in. Some we did some not (water balloon toss at the beach, bingo, dance lessons, etc.) Every night they had entertainment.
Thank god they had a sports bar=we watched the All Star Game![]()
, so did alot of NY'ers!!!
Oh also, we did buy fake rings from ebay and thank god we did b/c DH lost his ring in the ocean. Between sun tan lotion, sweating and not used to wearing a ring, his came off easily. He was soo upset. I said dont worry it was $8!!![]()
We would def. go to another Sandals but maybe another one to see other islands.
