HM question--Punta Cana/Dominican Republic
Re: HM question--Punta Cana/Dominican Republic
We stayed at the RIU Naiboa a couple of years agon in Punta Cana and we had NO problems swimming in the ocean. The water was very warm and calm, absolutely perfect for swimming. Most big hotels should have filtered water and we had bottles of water stocked in our friedge every day. We drank frozen drinks at the pool without any problems. Try posting this on NWR to get some more feedback. Good luck!
Re: HM question--Punta Cana/Dominican Republic
My Fh and I went to Dominican Republic on the Puerta Plata side. We stayed at the Marien Coral by Hilton and absoulutley loved it. I would love to go back there soon. As far as the beach was concerned there was no problems with the water, but on the side I was on it did tend to get very windy in the afternoon and would kick up alot of sand so we stayed by the amazing pool most of the time. The resort water was filtered and the fridge we had in our room always had stocked water bottles. The food was amazing too especially the mexican resturant and the resort help all spoke english. If you are looking into DR I think that you have nothing to worry about. I am definitley thinking about going back to Punta Cana side.
