Hm vent
Well we booked through a recommended TA from here.
It was like pulling teeth to get this trip booked, I did everything possible to express what we wanted and now a month before we finally go on our HM I am realizing our travel agent neglected to organize our trip to how i informed him to do so.
I am not going to name names since I haven't gone away yet and I haven't done my hm review but its just a warning to girls still planning. Make sure you say I want this and this done - i do not want to do it so can you do it.
We are going to Ireland and not renting a car so the main point of the trip was to be able to easily commute to our locations via train. We also asked to see options for day tours (still haven't received). What we got was a listing of hotels and flights that is it. I had to research every detail of the hotels to make sure it was in a city not somewhere far away from a city so that we had nothing to do but sit in a hotel. What we didn't realize was one hotel/castle is no where near any trains so I had to search and email the castle myself to figure out how the hell we were getting there. Luckily there is a bus they have going out of galway to this castle's town that isn't too expensive.
SO now i have to research day tours and things to do when we are there. I thought by doing this through TA i wouldn't have to do this figured we show up and we have the research on the day tours book them and all is done.
So make sure things are planning out for everything before handing over 100% of the money.
