So, I usually leave from Harrisonburg between 1(pm) and 2 when I leave on a weekday, putting me in brooklyn at about 8/830, and getting me home to smithtown at around 930/10. I was thinking of leaving at around 7/730am this time though, cuz i want to get home, and really don't want to drive in the dark. That should put me in brooklyn at around 1/130, and then in smithtown at around 230...
do you think i'll hit a lot of traffic if i hit that area at that time, or do you think i'll be okay?

I think you will be fine, if you can leave that early then you will not hit traffic but honestly any time after 3 pm you will get stuck. so leave early like you plan and we will pray that we do not get no snow or any kind of bad weather. drive safely!!!!

hmm, okay. it's supposed to rain friday, unfortuantly, but i guess it's better to drive during the day than at night.

Sorry, but anytime you hit NY there is always traffic. I have tried all hours and always hit traffic in NY/LI.

actually, i rarely hit traffic when i leave at 2. I mean, i have a few times, but majority of the time, when i get to this area, i hit nothing. Cept maybe a few minutes right over the goethals on statan island
I figure i might hit a little, but a lot less than at, say, 5
