I had a phone interview scheduled with an officiant for last night. I called and I never received a call back. Today, I got an e-mail that they had dinner guests and she didn't realize that her phone was in her car until 10:00PM. She was apologetic and said that we could schedule another time to talk if I'll give her another chance.
It's an honest mistake, but things like this with vendors make me very nervous.
Another chance or Xnay?

I would look around ...first impressions mean alot. However, people do make mistakes. Iknow I would be weary though.

Personally, I would prob look around-it sounds horrible but for the money you pay, you want to make sure that you're not going to have any issues in the future

I'd give her another chance. It could be a freak incident, especially if it's someone who was recommended to you. After that, she's out the door though!

give her another chance, but if it happens again, i'd look around...when i was calling a vendor, they never answered, they would just call back with voicemails...that turned me off

I would be skeptical. Had you read any good reviews on her before?? If you had then maybe I would give them a second chance.
