Hmmm. Guest question

Hmmm. Guest question

One of my bms is a college friend. Her parents are invited. She has a younger sister (19 or 20) I've met 2 or 3 times but I don't really know her that well.

Do I have to invite her sister because she is my BM and her parents are invited? Oh and she's had a bf for like 3 years so she will probably ask if she can bring him too lol.

ok, good. shes a nice girl and all but we are trying to cut back. I just felt bad, I didn't know if her parents expected her to be invited or anything.

I'm in the same situation, only I've known my BMs sister for as long as I've known her. Currently they're all B-listed. I'm either inviting the family, or none at all. I would feel awkward in my situation though because our parents know each other and the families know each other. But I wouldn't invite her with her bf because she'll be with her family, and IMO she doesn't need to have an escort if it's a family outing.

no you don't have to invite her. I'm inviting one of my BM's parents but not her siblings for the same reason.

Nope I don't think so either. You might feel like you should... but it's already 4 people just for her... so that should be enough and she should understand.
I am not inviting a friends sister... the sister invited me to her wedding, but I couldn't make it. I hardly ever see her... and it was nice for her to invite me, but at the same time they weren't paying pp... so I feel like she should understand. I haven't seen her in like almost 2 years maybe.
I read somewhere that you are supposed to invite those that you see regulary or are in contact with. If there's anyone extra that you have room for... great! If not, you certainly are not obligated!

IMO - I would not invite her, especially if you've only met her a few times.
