so i dont include them in the final countdown but
the day of the wedding they decide to show up!

what happens? does the rh charge u for them?

ugh i'm thinking i'm going to ahve a few of these...or maybe some tag alongs

I am having the same problem. I know some people get charged the day of but some halls just forget.

The RH didn't charge us, but then again we had a few no shows as well. Unless you point it out I doubt they'll even notice.

I called the people I never received an RSVP back from and said that if I don't hear from you, i'm putting you as a no. If they show up - they'll be sent home. If you don't have the courtesy to send back the STAMPED RSVP card or call - I don't need you there.

from what i understand, you give your final count and pay a few days before...
then they actually do a headcount on the day of the wedding and charge you for any additional.

we're in the same boat... FH and I refuse to put a couple on our seating chart, but we assigned them seats... IN CASE they show.. but i want them to wonder WHY they aren't listed.

Honestly, it's near IMPOSSIBLE to do an accurate head count on the wedding day. There are ALWAYS going to be people milling around- at the bar, in the bathroom, outside smoking, we had a cousin who was sick so I brought her to the bridal suite to lie down, etc. There's no way they can do an accurate count.
