hmmm why is it july and we still don't have many reviews?
is it just me? we have had alot of weddings and only a handful of 08 reviews.

I have mine written up in word its about 10 pages so far I am just waiting for my professional pics to be put on a CD that way i can insert the pics in the review

I know that to be honest it's going to take me a while to do my review! I'll just be busy with alot of other things... thank yous, still settling in to the new appt, name change, new job, etc. I can relate! I'll get it done eventually though...

holy moly!!! now THATS a review! lol.
i had started writing mine so i could remember some of the vendors i bought from like on ebay or whatever...but then FH's laptop fried...i lost everything oh well. now i'm just gonna wait til its over.

maybe people are waiting for their pro pics? thats the only thing i can think of - which is fine - b/c i like reviews with pics better last july when i got engaged and found this site i felt like there were SO many 07 reviews - maybe 08 is slacking im def doing a review - its my favorite part of the site and is where i got many of my ideas from - i wouldnt feel right not doing one

there are going to be a few that just don't do it, I remember that happened to many '07 girls. I waiting for a bunch of girls from that board to write a review that either got married at CLM or they were really cool chicks that I couldn't wait to see their pics.
I always read and try to comment where I can so us '08 brides are more on top of the review boards. I mean there are some amazing brides from previous years that truly deserve the top ranking reviews but i think if we show that the '08's are posting reviews people for '09 and on will start to read them and use them.
I wrote mine so fast that I think no one cared IoI mine got bumped to page 3 of reviews after a few weeks of being up. I guess my reviewed ******?

yeah thats why i was asking...it felt like 07ers had alot more. i was just wondering if its that waiting for the pics and writing the review is a P.I.T.A or if it was just that we are slackers lol

no friggin way...actually i was just looking at ur review again...you know I LOVEEEEEEED your wedding. everything was so detailed and beautiful and u had so many personal touches. the review was just as detailed. I love looking at the pics in ur review.

to be honest, i'm still not sure if i'm going to post a review.
i think reviews are crap without pictures, and while i've posted pictures here and there i dont know if i want to put this big detailed thing with tons of pictures out on the internet. i'm leaning more toward yes than no at this point w/ respect to reviews, but not sure yet.
plus, i have very different taste than a lot of the brides on here (more traditional and simple, with unusual color choices ) so not sure that there would be much interest anyway.

i think that there are probably lots of girls on here with the same sense of style as you! or girls who want to do something similair just havent seen it done yet (the diff colors for example) so thats why i think the reviews help - my wedding would have been 100% different if i didnt find this site - so thats my reason for wanting to do one! plus ive t asked questions and talked about it so much i think that people are going to be curious to see how it all came together - b/c thats how i feel about fellow brides - i couldnt wait to see their pics and hear about their day!

I loved your review! I thought all the stuff you designed was awesome and you did some really unique things! I especially liked the info about Dublin and your pics! Thanks for staying on and answering our questions!

But that is why a review is needed - its the different stuff that makes the review interesting. Yea i can read endless reviews on the standard wedding and take something from them but its the unique interesting spins that you really benefit from the review. I had to do traditional for the most part because DH refused all my 'creative' ideas, I got away with some but deff. not all. I can't wait to see your pics - honestly.

I've been debating doing a review I have a couple of vendors who did not meet my expectations or fulfill the contract as paid for and my honest feedback would probably get pulled! Sorry!

I've been writing my review as things have been happening, so I plan to post it really soon after the wedding! I will put in my pictures later on. For the brides who are really doing their preliminary research, I don't think they care if there are pictures or not. When I was a newbie all I wanted to do was read what brides had to say about the vendors I was considering. Pictures are more fun for me now that I'm mostly done w/planning!

I did mine, but all mine are basically NJ vendors so I don't think people care hahah .. and I had noo idea how to add more than 4 pics lol

well i know the more recent girls are busy i' sure...but I just hope the earlier girls didn't give up on us...i'd love to see more reviews.
