I just want to say I absolutely adore my dress. My only issue is that I think the train is really long (i am getting married at east wind country gardens...not a long isle. What do you think? It's the last picture...you will see my gown w/ the train on http://www.liweddings.com/community/album/?ID=613

I like the long train...I have on my dress too!!! I don't think it really matters about the aisle length...My church does not have a long aisle either but that was not going to stop me from having the dress of my dreams...

I had the same problem. The dress had a long long detachable train. I am getting married at the Crescent Beach Club on the beach. Just didn't think it fit. Still looking...

I think trains are very elegant. Just not for me. I am WAAAAAAY too clutsy and would be sure to trip on it. Since I am Jewish, I won't be able to do the custom of walking around my FH 7 times at the beginning of the ceremony if I have a long train behind me. That just sounds like an accident waiting to happen - you have to know me. I may be fit and trim, but I am no ballerina!

Long trains are very elegant and I love them! I have a long train also, (detachable, though) and the view from behind will be beautiful!

I think its up to you. If you fell in love with the dress and its long train, then keep it . If you feel uncomfortable, then shorten it. I personally do not want a long train as I will be getting married at the reception hall with a very short aisle. I don't want the train taking up the entire area.

Good point - if you like the dress and the train, then get it! It's your day!
