Hmmm....valentine's day....

DH keeps coming home saying Oh, I got you another little thing for Valentine's Day. and then he asked me what I was doing March 13 or 14th but when tell me why!!!

It's going to drive me crazy trying to figure out what/how much to get him!!! I have no good ideas this year. It's so frustrating!!!!!

This is why I tell Tim exactly what to get me. This year - a WIFE card (because he forgot at Xmas and didn't understand why it was a big deal to the point he said, something about last Xmas and I was like ... UMMMMMMM, I WAS NOT YOUR WIFE THEN DOPEY!!! But thank you CVS for still having the perfect wife card AFTER Xmas) and chocolate caramels. That's it!!! He should know to expect something similar.

If he decides he's getting me anything else, well then GOOD FOR ME!!

If he is mentioning a specific day, you need to check the concert listings and see if there is anything going on that day that you may have mentioned wanting to see/hear.

DH did this to me with my birthday. he told me to keep a day clear and when I saw the concert listings for Jones Beach, I saw that Norah Jones was there the day he mentioned!

I thought of that, but he just gave me ballet tickets last week for no reason at all! I don't know what I'm complaining about, I love surprises!

I guess I'm just worried about reciprocating!

You totally inspired me. I was at a lose as to what to get my DH for V-day. We normally don't do gifts, but I wanted to do something special this year. Jon Stewart is going to be at the Westbury Music Fair and I know DH really wanted to see him. So I bought tckts this morning & will surprise him on Monday.

I am going to make a nice dinner and give him a card.
