we have this patient who comes in... he accidentally hit the gas instead of break while driving (94) and sent himself along with his wife to the hospital... hes ok now.. but doesnt drive anymore (thank god!)
well he called his wife just now to let her know he is coming home... and she mustve said I love u on the phone..cuz he said 'i do,too'..
my heart broke.. i asked him how long hes been married...72 years!!!!!
he says 'i love her, but she's very bossy'

aww thats so sweet
before my grandmother passed away her and my grandfather were married 50+ years and they would always act like they had just fell in love. they were so cute to see together. I hope DH and I are still like that in 50 years!!
