Okay tiss the season of holiday cards and I highly doubt my dear DH would want a pic of us on one but I had seen on a few sites that people put a wedding pic on a holiday card just spruce it up a bit to make it feel more 'Holiday'.
I told my mom and she said 'Why would you put a wedding pic on a holiday card - your wedding wasn't in xmas and that is just silly.'
I don't think it is silly but I have to say I have never seen it before. So I wanted to know what you girls though.

It's funny, I was thinking the same thing. I haven't seen it done though...I'm also interested to hear everyone's thoughts!!

I was thinking about it since we didnt send out picture thank yous (we just did traditional ones that matched our invites) but I dont know if we're going to send out cards at all, or if we're going to print up cards

I would like to do one, but also know my DH just like yours will not like it. Also I know like your mom says, we didn't have a Christmas wedding and would probably get mixed reviews/opinions from friends and family.

I actually just got our holiday cards from Shutterfly and I put a collage of 4 pics of us on the card. I did 1 from the wedding, 2 from our honeymoon, and another cute one of us from a friend's wedding. I think they're cute
If our friends and family think we're weird, than oh well for them LOL!

DH's aunt and uncle sent a photo card last year that was a pic of the whole family from his cousin's wedding....the children are all grown.

DH and I were going to do a wedding pic, but we sent out picture thank yous so we chose a pic from our honeymoon.

We are getting married 6 days before Chirstmas. So what I am going to do is have holidauy cards with our picture made up. Maybe from the engagement party or shoot. And then mail them the day after the wedding. And have Love, The _____ on them.

Actually, my future BIL did this last year! I thought it was a great idea. It's nice to send everyone a professional picture from that day. We kept his for a picture album and cut off the holiday part.

Well my wedding is nov 8 th so Im thinking I can make my thank you's christmas cards as well....if there is a enough time lol
i think its a cute idea to put your wedding pic on your holiday card...its your first married holiday makes sense to me!
