Holiday Inn- Carle Place/Westbury-Old Country Road

Has anyone taken a look at this hotel? How is it?
We are getting married at CB and are considering blocking rooms there.

They did say there is a back route for the guest to walk to get to CB. Is that Tacky? Im so worried about it raining that day.

Def not tacky I am so going to block all my rooms there pretty much I think it is so convient that the hotel is right next to the RH. You can drink all you want and all you have to do is walk next door not drive maybe 10-15 mins to the hotel.

I think TERI blocked her rooms there FM her.

I was at this hotel last weekend for a wedding at Verdis. CB is literally right next to the hotel and they had a back entrance for the hotel that looks like it could lead to CB as well. I forgot how many floors it has I know we were on the third and had the smoking section unfortunately since all the other rooms got booked. The rooms are nice and they have a big restaurant/bar for breakfast and a decent size pool. The staff is really friendly too. We paid 212 with tax for one night. So maybe see if you can talk them down in price and no I don't think it's tacky at all to have them walk to CB, it's actually really convenient.

fh seemed excited when i told him about the special walkway to get to cb.
he wants to take a look at it this weekend.

I'm also getting married at CB. I blocked rooms at HI. Its very convenient b/c I'm getting ready there and fiance is getting ready at home. My bridal party will stay with me the night before and we'll all walk over together.

I stayed there for a wedding 2 years ago. It was nice - it wasn't a luxury hotel, but it was fine for our purposes. Plus, the bar was a great thing to have for after the wedding!
