anyone who used this hotel as their guest accommodations, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me feedback on how everything went....
how the staff was, how the rooms were, how things such as 'welcome bags' and shuttles to and from reception were....if you had an afterparty there, how did that go as far as them setting up the coolers, etc?
i just read some HORRIBLE HORRIBLE reviews from people on a website online, and just want to hear from you girls who i trust more what your experience was with them??? i don't want to jump the gun and take my hold off rooms before i know for sure...

OMG....WHAT WEBSITE DID YOU READ?? I BOOKED WITH THEM AND DIDN'T REALLY LOOK TOO MUCH INTO IT. BUSY WITH SO MANY THINGS I JUST FIGURED IT LOOKED OK AND MATT WAS SO HELPFUL AND REASSURING I JUST WENT FOR IT.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ABOUT THE WEBSITE....AND ILL WAIT TO SEE IF YOU GET ANY RESPONSES HERE.

i used them and had an awful experience....
my cousin had someone come in her room while she was changing....they double booked the room.
we were provided with shuttles to and from our rh....well i found out afterwards from my guests that there was no driver so the hotel just had a random employee drive the van...and he proceeded to run over every curb and get lost. and i actually rode on the shuttle after the receptiona nd witnessed the driver get lost.
they told my guests there were no more rooms available....when there were tons! they told me that when the block was filled they would just add more rooms...well they didnt.
if you choose to use them stay on top of them. good luck.....

im looking into Sheraton Smithtown right now...very accommodating and helpful, good rates right now, etc

oh no! i booked the rooms there for my wedding too ! the shuttles are included to and from the rh so i thought it was great but now im not so sure :(

i know im so sorry!! i feel so bad, but after reading the reviews i read today there is no way i can comfortably send my relatives there!!!
eta: and that was the main sell for me too...the included shuttles! but my mom, after reading everything, said she'd gladly pay for shuttles from another hotel than have guests stay there...
plus, instead of the 149 room rate that includes shuttles, guests will only have to pay 119 now...that is kinda better too...

hey ladies! my family stayed there for my cousin's 1/6/08 wedding at Lombardi's - we didn't have any problems, and the shuttles were awesome for us. but other than that, I was a little drunk and exhausted (MOH), so that's all I've got!! good luck!

im having my wedding at Smithtown which is not that far from Watermill and Im stuck looking for hotels. not sure which one to pick. i got rates for the Hyatt, will call the Sheraton too. Anything other hotel im missing around the area.
