With the Holidays quickly approaching Do you decorate the outside of your home for them? I always go crazy for Halloween & Christmas

I used to go nuts for Xmas when I lived alone in Texas.. nowadays.. not so much.
I know my FH's family puts up a tree and lights. That's about it.
I used to love to look at the tree light up in the dark when I was a little girl. heh

gosh...my parents are halloween nuts...people come from all over to see there house...
and every thing is made out of 'garbage'...so to speak...my dad found a keg and made it into a Frankenstein...old cloths were made into a scarecrow...sheets - ghosts...my sister scuplture project - a mummy...old wood - tombstones
i can go on and on...
as for us...we don't do much...but when we have kids I am sure that will change...

we love to decorate for those holidays! those are my most favorite holidays!!!!! since this is our first halloween in the house, i just bought a lot of decorations at michael's, all on sale.
i have some christmas decorations, but not nearly enough yet!

my FMIL is not a very crafty/decorative person, since I have been around we do the decorating. when I was home my mom and I usually always did it. I CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE A HOME!!!! I have so many items from when I had my apartment. Last X-Mas I got a whole new color theme for the tree/house (clearance)

I decorate the inside of my apartment a little, but we are an interfaith couple so I don't want to shove Christmas on my DH. Our superintendant does decorate the lobby.

DH and I both have a severe hatred for Halloween (don't know why) but it was one of those things we laughed about when we first met...so, NO Halloween decorations for us! Although, I am excited to buy candy for the kids in my neighborhood this year!

for christmas, i set up a little 4 ft christmas tree in my basement/temporary apartment and fully decorate it. i also string a few sets of christmas lights along the edges of the ceiling around the basement during the season. butterfly decorates the rest of the basement. it's a christmas wonderland........my favorite holiday
