What are you and FH doing for the holidays with gifts? FH and I were just talking about this the other day. I told him we should be creative this year but I don't know what to do.

FH and I are not being creative at all! We are trying to save money like crazy so all our gifts are practical and boring. However, he did buy me tickets to see Pitbull as one of my presents! I am super excited that he did that, mostly because he cant stand him but will still take me anyway!

We put a $100 cap on presents this year.... although I have a feeling we both went over ALREADY haha. Womp womp...

We decided that we are not going to exchange gifts this year...we have so many other gifts we have to get and we are trying to save money.

my FH and I bought our gifts before we got engaged LOL- NOw i think about it he knew when he was going to do it and wants to save money. so thats what we did

I LOVE PITBULL!!! Is it the concert at the Roseland ballroom on the 29th? When I found out, I told FH I wanted that for Christmas but then I found out its just standing room and I HATE that! Bunch of ppl all pushed up on you, drinking and acting a fool. I would be irritated! Plus to get a good spot you have to get there really early and then wait probably like 3 hours for him to come out. I told FH to forget it. I wish there was some seating so you have your own designated spot. I LOVE him. I really wanted to go. Have lots of fun!!

Ugh Christmas gifts.. I've spent way too much $$ on everyone already! I haven't been putting any extra $ into our wedding savings for the passed 2 months. I can't wait til Christmas is over! lol
I bought FH the Kindle Fire. But he knew about it and is actually using it already. I couldn't wait until Christmas because he would have bought it himself. He was being such a fiend! smh. I want to buy him a little something else so he can open up something on Christmas day but I'm not sure what to get.
I sent FH a list of things I need. Flat boots, shoes for work, a coat, hat/scarf/glove set. So he will likely pick from that list.

Im going to the one on 12/30 at the Paramount in Huntington.. I think its standing room only as well though. I hate that but, Ive yet to see Pitbull in concert and I know things are only going to get financially tighter as we get closer to the wedding so I was not saying no! If I cant get close I have no problem hanging out by the bar in the back and dancing by myself I just cant not dance when Pitbull comes on!

LOL I hear ya! I HAVE to dance to. I just want a seat while I wait for him to come out and at least I have my own spot to stand! lol.. I've been to 2 of his concerts.. 1 at Irving Plaza which is in the city and it was standing room also but they had a balcony area so we went up there and was able to lean over the railing. The 2nd concert was at BB Kings in times square and there they had tables that were roped off so we got one of those and I was able to stand in my own spot, comfortable and dance my a$$ off in peace! lol

FH takes me to Disney every year bc he has a softball tournament there, so I go to the parks and play all day!!! He suggested splitting it this year and that will be xmas Blahhhh both of my brothers are engaged too, so when one suggested that us 3 to-be couples do a secret santa instead of individual gifts, a HUGE weight was lifted! starting to freak about gifts
