Not sure if I'm saying it right, but how far in advance should you do this? I asked at Macy's where I'm getting my dress (Manhasset) and I got 2 different answers 2 times. Once I was told that if I get this measurement done in March the dress will come in December 2006 and the other said it will come in June 2006. Does it take a long time? I'm still not even sure about the color - ahhh!
It all depends on the manufacturer...I had mine done when I ordered my gown in November 2004 & my dress was in March 2005! I would think, the sooner the better
I agree- the sooner the better. My dress took 5 months to come in with a hollow to hem measurement.
i got my dress from Macy's Manhasset and had a hollow to hem measurement. it took about 8 1/2 months to come in. HTH
Macy's Smith Haven Mall told me they need 8 months for my dress, since they're making the dress especially for me. Make sure you give an earlier wedding date than it actually is. I say, the earlier, the better. You don't need that headache right before your wedding! Good luck!
I'm gonna get to it... I got the shoes a month ago, but I've been lazy getting to the measurement...
I think too it depends WHERE you order from. I was told certain dress shops take your order & don't place it for 3-4 months. My person placed the order that day & I had my Maggie 3 months later.
