Holt Crapola!!

FH was playing his video game and I was on the couch - all of a sudden we heard screaming
from outside

The couple that lives upstairs was walking their dog, a man and his pit bull attacked them!!

Police are on their way, I cleaned the man upstair's arm that is bleeding -

so crazy! the man let his pit bull loose off the leash!!

My friend just told me today her Pit bit her brother... what is going on?

so crazy, police just got here to take the report
my heart is still beating like crazy

holy crapp!
is the guy alright?? is their dog okay?

i hate bad dog owners. unfortunately there is a chance that the dog will be put down after the cops get involved.

for everyone involved except the jerk who let the dog off the leash.

I have a pitbull mix, and he's a mush and love him and he'd never hurt anyone. but he's also a huge dog, and i'd never let him off the leash anywhere other than my property.

the guy that lives upstairs had some nasty scratches and one deep tooth mark
the dog (golden retriever) upstairs was also bit
i feel bad for the wife, she was trembling and so scared

Pitbulls in general are not a bad breed of dog. I have a pitbull mix and he's the best dog ever. He lets us dress him up and everything. I can understand your fear, but it's unfair to the breed and unfortunately it's people like the guy the OP mentioned who let their dogs off leashes that wind up giving Pits a bad name.

Not all dogs that are 'bad' are b/c of an owner. sometimes breeders arent careful and breed aggressive dogs.... but it's still not the breed in general, you know?

Not all Pits are bad dogs.... Mirage is an awsome doggie.

Pitbulls in general are not a bad breed of dog. I have a pitbull mix and he's the best dog ever. He lets us dress him up and everything. Not all dogs that are 'bad' are b/c of an owner. sometimes breeders arent careful and breed aggressive dogs.... but it's still not the breed in general, you know?

I understand what you are saying but I truly feel that, that breed has a predisposition to be on the aggressive side (esp pure breed ones). and although any dog can turn, when a pitbull turns its very dangerous plus they get Lock jaw.

I personally wouldnt have one esp if i had kids.. but that is just my opinion.

yeah it is soo stupid. My friend was telling me that she was walking her dog ( a pit.. but that doesnt matter) and someone near by was walking their dog off the leash and the dog was coming near hers. and the person says.. oh its ok.. he wont bite.. my friend was like 'yeah but mine will, put it on a leash!' so dumb!!!

Seriously, not only is it stupid, it's ILLEGAL! I think they should have stricter laws on these type of things
