So next week I'll be staying at the crowne plaza in holtsville for my wedding. I'm going to need to get my hair blown out on Friday and get my nail polish changed. Can anyone recommend any salons around there? And if any one knows any good bakeries and bagel stores that would be great. Thank you so much. Oh if you know any places to take some pictures too. I scouted out some places but can alwaysuse some more.

I've been to Mascolo a few times for blow outs b/c they are close to where I work. Never have been disappointed.

There is a great bagel place right in the Kmart shopping center just north of the LIE on North Ocean Ave. Daryl's Bagels I think.

LOOOVEEEE Mascolos - I've been going there for about 12 yrs! Tony (the owner) and Dana (who's been doing my hair forever but I think she only works Saturdays now) are THE BEST!
IMHO - Daryls is right there and is good, but over priced! Go West on Horseblock - which turns into Portion - and go a few miles down to Strathmore in the Waldbaums shopping center in Lake Ronkonkoma. Ask any one from sachem - the best bagels ever!

Cactus Salon in Ronkonkoma is also very close (on Portion Road) They are also great!
