Good luck! FH and I are separated for 5 DAYS (he's camping, I'm going to PA with my cousins) and I just break down weeping every so often because I miss him, so I am not the best advice giver on that topic. But September will be here before you know it! Hang in there!

Congrats!!

It's going to be hard at first but I'm sure the months are going to fly by! You are going to be busy planning a wedding and setting up your new home after all!

Re: holy crap

about half of my relationship with FH (DH 2morrow ) was long distance (me NY, him Sydney). when we first met we were 2gether for 5 months, then seperated for 6 months. i then moved to be with him and we were 2gether for 11 months (got engaged during this time). i then left 2 months after we got engaged, and saw him 2 1/2 months later for 2 weeks. then separated for 3 1/2 months. he is leaving again three days after the honeymoon and then i am moving three weeks later.

it was one of the hardest things i have ever done. make sure you put aside time to talk and remember that there is an ending to the separation. at times in my relationship i didnt know if there would ever be an end to the separation.

How exciting! Don't worry about the move. It will go just fine! (think of who your getting away from! ) You will definitley miss your FH and he will miss you too. Just think of how great the sex is going to be when you see each other after not seeing each other! I envy you in that department!

Re: holy crap

you're too funny with the phone calls thing and the sex. im like baby, we can only do it like 2 more times lets get going haha cause our best friend is coming along for the ride so we get there as soon as possible.

i'm excitd about the move, but nervous cause its a new state on my own, i have to get a good paying job and try to make friends. and at my age, its kinda hard to do that haha (im only 22 but its still not as easy as when you're in high school or younger)

but i DO get away from FMIL!!! although her and the family are down there now with their timeshare for 2 weeks. and im sure i'll be there for awhile trying to hang out with FH's cousins. i'll just be alot less stressed in that department!

we wanted to move to florida for awhile, but never did anything about it until 2 weeks ago when we found a place (2 bedrooms, 2 full bath, 1082 sq feet, gated community, fitness center, pool, etc for 800 a month!!!) and applied. so the move was basically really sudden! i'm leaving tonight around 10 and my room is still not packed and ready to go AHHHHHHH xo

Re: holy crap

Best of luck in your new home! My FH doesn't live in another state but he did travel back home (out of the country) for 3 months this past year and it was a little difficult. But, look at it this way, at least you're in the same time zone as him...that makes it easier to talk w/each other. Try to keep yourself busy and September will be here b4 you know it. Do you have family or friends down there?
