Holy crap! Huge, huge checks for me! My dress is here!!!

Saturday morning I had an appointment at David's with my sister (MOH) and best friend (BM) so they could try on some dresses. When I got there they said those four sweet words to me:

'YOUR GOWN IS IN!'

This was absolutely perfect timing, as my mom and sister were in from FL for only a few days; it wasn't due in until near Thanksgiving and I was just going to try on the sample for my mom and sister (which was in white...I ordered ivory) as they didn't know which gown I selected.

My best friend was prepared with her wedding jewelry, so we got me all dressed up in a dressing room and came out...my mom started to tear up, it was so cute! It was AWESOME to be able to try on my real gown (not a sample!) for them!!!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it was time for the girls to try on gowns...as they're very different body types, I just wanted them in the same color, same fabric, and similar length. Well...after about 8 dresses that would look good on one of them, but not both, they ended up trying on this sweet little number:



and it looked GREAT on both of them! (Keep in mind, my sister is about 5'6' and a size 18-20; my best friend is about 5'1' and a size 4-6) They both came out of the dressing rooms smiling and happy...the dresses are a cotton-y material so it's not clingy at all...perfect for a daytime spring wedding. Done! I almost want to get one for myself, it was so cute!

Oh, and the color in the picture is what we're ordering.

Thanks, Laura...I didn't think my gown would be in, so I didn't bring my camera! My sister and mom took pics, but they flew home yesterday so they haven't uploaded them yet. Once I have them, you know I'm gonna show them off!

ok, now its just weird... im doing red, orange and yellow gerberas for bok's and CP's... orange baby gerbera's for bouts...
