I just got my eyebrows threaded for the first time, and OMG I didn't realize how bad it was going to hurt!!!

Worse than waxing? My cousin told me I should try threading because its less painful. But I dont see how this can be true if they are pulling each individual hair out. Ouch!!! Is the redness as bad as waxing?

I found threading to be the most painful experience I have ever had in my life.
Not to mention for the rest of the day I looked like I had lost a fight with Tyson I was soooo swollen.

It did hurt worse than waxing. My eyes aren't that red, but my left one is a little swollen and a little pink. I was clenching my teeth to stop from saying anything, but I tell you what my eyebrows never looked this good right after with waxing. And it was quick, hardly any tweezing needed. And cheap.

I have just started threading for the last 4 months or so and I like it better than waxing. It is painful -- especially the first time because you're not used to it. It's a different hurt then waxing - the best way I can explain it is feels like rubbing string back and forth on your skin. They pull a bunch of hairs at a time, so it is very quck. I like it better because it's more precise. I hate that with waxing your eyebrows never match and they look different every time!

ditto! Not to mention the red bumpy rash I had for days after, and I have sensitive skin, but waxing never bothered me. Waxing is like a walk in the park compared to threading IMO. And, my brows didn't look any better than what I could have done with a tweezer.

I've done both and I actually liked the threading.., but I can also tolerate that pain pretty well for some reason..
