So I spent the day without power on monday to make out guest list so we could have an idea as to how many people we would be inviting before going to visit some reception halls. anyway, my guest list is at 293 & that is without my FH's friends & coworkers. God help me. I was looking to have 200 people ideally, 225 max. Looks like we are going to have to reevaluate this list.

FH and I also thought 200-225. Then with guests and people we met throughout the year and a half engagement, we got up to 270! It's definitely a big number, but having friends and and family there is really important to us. Good luck!

You sound like my FH! My list is 85 all said & done...bridal party, family, friends, guests, etc. His first cousins ALONE came out to 220. We first started looking at rooms that held up to 200, good thing the room we booked holds 450!

I feel ya girl, we're inviting 200 people hoping only 160 say yes but that's not including our B list either.
