I just wrote out my entire guestlist for the first time (well, typed it for the calligrapher)

261 people.

Holy Moly!!! I remember when we did out dream guest list and it was 310 people!!!!!!!!!!
We finally narrowed it down to 148. Are all those people 'A' listers? Good luck...what is your minimum and what is your dream total?

thats nice amount - we are hoping for like 150-175 (175 is our minimum but we rather be under than over).....we are inviting 235 i think but a lot of OOT and im expecting (and hoping for) a lot of no's - like from the people who dont even know us

I am getting a stomache reading this thread. Seriously.

I am inviting 170, nothing compared to you girls I know, but my room only holds 158. And I am nervous about getting just 12 no's because almost everyone invited is a very close friend or family member! FH has 100 family/friends alone!!!!!!

I've got you all beat....unfortunately....we are inviting 408...that's including the kids that are invited....(first cousins only). I sent out 224 invitations.

We invited about 295 incl. about 20 kids and only 174 are actually coming..

we got A LOT more no's than anticipated.. mostly due to airfare prices

Don't worry. Ours just kept going up and up and up. We wound up inviting 241 and having 176.
