Holy Jesus, you won't believe what our parents did

FI turned 30 on 4/25. i turn 30 on 5/7. my mom called last week saying FMIL and her BF and my parents wanted to take us to dinner tonight to celebrate our b-day's. okay, sounds good to me. FMIL's BF owns one of the catering halls out east so we go to pick him up to join us for dinner. he says he's running late setting up for a party tomorrow, why don't we hop inside for a quick drink and a tour? sounds good to me. HELLO - THEY THREW US A JOINT SURPRISE 30TH B-DAY PARTY!!!! i have never been so shocked in my life!!! couldn't believe the amount of family and friends they got together and nobody slipped!!!

if anybody is looking for a place for a small reception, this is the place - great food, great service!!

WOW how great of them! Did anyone take pictures of your shocked faces. It sounds like they really got the both of you!

it's so funny, b/c as he was showing us around, he was like 'come look at the small room' and i was like 'artie, there are people in there, i don't want to interrupt their party!' my GF's said i walked in, and then walked out really quick and then it all hit me. it was the best surprise ever!!!!

hey anna - it was the crystal swan in medford on route 112. FMIL BF's took over ownership a few months ago - it was soooo nice and the food was fantastic!!!!! it was on the smaller size and perfect for the b-day party!!
