Holy Name of Mary !!

Soooooooooo I am getting married in a couple of months and our priest just called and canceled on us!!! I am soooooooooooooooo upset!!! Who are you guys using at the church?

I'm so sorry that happened!!! The church didn't provide any other options?

We had Father Rob...he was sooooooooooo cool and down to Earth. He had to have been around early 30s or so. I came home from work and FMIL gave me the message that someone from the church called and said he was going to be out of the country or something. I am seriously about to cry because I dont know any of the priests.

Is Father Tom any good? Can you give me more info on him if you can please? FH and I dont know what to do.

Do you happen to know any of the priests?? We just felt sooooo comfortable with Father Rob and now I feel like lost... sorry but its just like whyyyy now so close to the wedding!!!

Father Tom is very nice, he is the pastor.

I can't believe this!!! We are having Father Rob at our wedding. I am getting married at another church, but we asked him to be our priest. WOW! Now I am concerned.

Def. call the church when you can to find out. But you might be okay since you are getting married a couple of months after me. The message said that 'he was going to be out of the country' but I think you should be okay.

Oh man I hope Father Tom is available for our wedding date! Thank you for letting me know. If he is not available is there any other priests that you could recommend?

Father Tom is VERY good. He's been around for years. Did HNM give you any alternatives????????

That happened to us in May and they found us a different priest and it worked out ok Call the rectory and they will help you

Yeah.... they should have given you an alternative and told you who was available!!

I think there is only one other priest, and I think he is older and he only does like one mass a week. I never saw him though.

I am sooooooo mad and upset all at the same time!!! Well they just left the message and said to leave my email address and then I yelled 'I dont want to leave my da m email, I want to talk to someone!!!!!!!!!!' So then FH tried calling but hes not even in today.

Hopefully on Monday I can get in touch with Father Tom and pray that he is available on our date

Father Tom is very nice. FH and I have known him a long time because he is actually one of our high school friend's uncles. I don't know Father Rob or any other priests - I used to know the other Father Robert, but he has gone. So sorry, I can't believe that would happen!

Agreed...Father Tom Harold married us as well..and i went to hs with his nieces too! He was so great all along the way. My friend just had Father Robert and he is so great too...that stinks that he cancelled but I am sure everything will be fine!

Anyone know of Father Richard??? The church said that he is available
