Holy Roaches - UPDATE

Well, there have been several roach sightings in my office since we moved here last september but they were kinda few and far between.

Last saturday I was at work with a coworker and she was in the bathroom (on the toilet!) and a huge roach fell from the CEILING by her feet!!!!

OMG disgusting.

Today FH sees one by the bathroom in the hallway, merrily strolling along.

I am gagging. I've only seen one but it was on another floor.

It's official. Our floor has been infiltrated.

They are huuuuuuge!!! I'm scared to go to the bathroom...

UPDATE: I just went to the bathroom and a roach was flattened in the hallway! I guess someone got him. I jumped a foot when I saw it since I didn't know it was dead.

The receptionist removed it before I could take a picture

AHH. Seriously, I wouldn't be able to get any work done. I'd think they were crawling all over me.

VOM! I would have ran out of the bathroom screaming for dear life with my pants around my ankles! I can't stand those things - or any bugs for that matter!

we have earwigs in my office and i thought THAT was bad...i can't imagine roaches!!

OSHA takes anonymous calls. I don't know what kind of office you work in, but do you have a union? I couldn't deal with that, no way.

No, no union. our office manager knows and has been very vocal about the building management and how it takes forever to do anything. She has complained though but the best that's happened is bug traps.

OMG I totally know what you are going thru. They're doing construction at my job and roaches are coming out of everywhere. And my boss is update that I do not want to kill it. I am not pest control and I seriously do not like roaches..... Sighs i hope it gets better..

Yeah, the receptionist rolled her eyes and grumbles 'I don't know why somebody won't just get rid of it, we're all capable.' before she finally went and got rid of it.

Hell NO I'm not cleaning bug carcasses. That is not in my job desription.

I would still call OSHA. The building management will be forced into doing something and face a fine if they don't.
