Home Depot strikes again

So Home Depot calls to tell us that our custom door is in. But.... its damaged. So they are going to call the co and try to have a new door rushed to us. We need the door next week.

Home Depot S#%*S!!!!! We have been burned more times than I care to write (or remember). If I can't find the product on their shelves - I won't buy it from them. All special orders that we have we bring to Florence Building Materials. Unfortunately we learned the hard way.

FIGHT WITH HOME DEPOT! They will give you money off. I've gotten loads of discounts thanks to their ineptitude (I would have rather had quality crafstmanship ). My sister actually got 75% off of her kitchen because they fouled it up so bad!

ETA - never purchase special order items from Home Depot!!! It's rare that they actually get it right!

Sorry I know two people who bought doors from them and had them installed. Unfortunately they have had nothing but problems. I would suggest not using a Home Depot contractor to do your installation. They both had a hard time getting the contractor to come back and fix the doors, I guess cuz they probably dont make as much since itis through home depot, who knows. I hope evrything works out for you.
