home from the hospital - kinda freaking out

Hey girls, missed you last night, SO wish I was on LIW insead of LIJ. I want to sleep right now, but I have to go in to a doctors appointment so it's not an option.

I've been having a health issue for the past few months, and, I was sent immeditly to LIJ last night by my doctor. After a battery of test & not needing immeditae surgery (thank goodness), I'm home, in my own comfy bed til I go see the specialist, who will then go over a plan of action w/ me that will most liky need surgery, either removing a cyst/ or moving an ovary (sp?). I'm very lucky that my ovary isn't twisted, but this is something that requires urgent attention.

This couldn't have happened at a worse time It's a huge week @ work, one of our most important week's of the year. I have the Shecky's Party w/ Megan & Mary tommorow ( , just so you know If I can walk & I'm not hospitilized I will be there, tho I may not have bells on ) I was going dress shopping on Sat. w/ my mom, MY MOH, & MY BM.... not a good time for me to try anything on


If I need surgery I'm afraid that I will miss out on my own birthday trip (a month late) We were supposed to leave next week

Sorry this is such a whine (next time I'll provide cheese, ba boom bang), I'm scared b/c of surgery, yet I'm bumming b/c all I will miss, esp, my b-day trip, Shecky's (w/ my LIW girls), and Dress Shopping.........

awwww i am sooo sorry to hear that. ANd dont worry about everything else, you will have plenty of times to go out and do things, just take care of yourself and get better, its not worth risking it seriously. YOu need to take care of this first and put all your attention on this.

Thanks Jen It could have been worse this could have been June 1, 2008 , it just is disapointing when your looking forward to somthing for so long....... , and you can't follow through, you know....

i'm sorry to hear that. try not to worry about the other things going on right now. your health comes first. those other things can be rescheduled if need be.

I hope all is well and things start to get better. I had a scare like that once but they figured it was a reaction to the birth control i was on (this is why i don't do bc anymore).

I'm sorry Michelle Sometimes these things happen at inconvenient times and unfortunately you have to alter a few things around them. Luckily this is something that they know can be corrected, even if it is through surgery but I'll pray for you that it doesn't come to that , you're going to be just fine

Thanks Jess I'm really happy & lucky that I didn't need emergency surgery last night, to try to save my ovary. The surgery I'm hoping for (since it's a solid cyst, and surgery is required to treat it) is just to remove the cyst...

If you are ill & just feel so lathargic....

I went to FH's cousin's wedding last year in Key West w/ Bronchittius, let's just say that was almost like a wasted get away, I slept most of the time I was there, & bailed out of the Bachlorette Party after an hour

I has a cyst burst that was on my ovary..it was painful and i couldnt walk. I cant imagine how you feel. Feel better and try to calm down
